We are searching for a experienced and passionate Functional Skills Tutor to join a well established an award winning team based in Manchester. This excellent training provider offers a number of Apprenticeships and Traineeships across a variety of sectors.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this friendly and driven team on a full time permeant basis. You will be an integral part of the teaching team delivering Functional Skills English and Maths to small classrooms of learners who are undergoing one of the centres many apprenticeships, this role is centre based.

Key Skills
- Hold minimum Level 2 Maths and English
- Hold teaching qualification ie PTLLS
- Experience delivering Functional Skills to learners with a wide rage of abilities
- Experience teaching learners with SEN
- Effectively and measurably enable learner achievement of their requisite Functional Skills though dynamic and enjoyable teaching activities and resources.
- Production, development and maintenance of effective lesson planning and resources in accordance with standard company systems and procedures
- Track and monitor learner progress and report these in a timely manner
- Work closely with the wider teaching team to ensure learners are on track to progress with their Appretiships
- Team player with great communication skills and a emphatic manner
