£25,000 – £31,000 (dependent on skills and experience)
We are recruiting a Skills Bootcamp Performance and Development Coach on a 12-month maternity cover contract to join our Marketing and Engagement team. The role focuses on engaging employers to secure job opportunities and coaching learners to prepare for, apply for and successfully progress into tech or digital roles.
You will support employers through recruitment, reskilling and retention initiatives, while coaching a caseload of learners to achieve positive job outcomes, high engagement, and timely programme completion. The role also involves delivering engaging training, maintaining accurate learner records, and working collaboratively to support learner and organisational success.
Skills Performance Coach – What you’ll be doing..
- Deliver against all programme milestones, including learner starts, successful programme completion, achievement of required guided learning hours, participation in employer interviews, and positive job outcomes within six months, including progression into apprenticeship opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong employer relationships through proactive outreach and attendance at networking events, supporting employer engagement and increased Skills Bootcamp participation.
- Use a recognised coaching approach to assess starting points, develop and align individual learning plans, and ensure learner goals are realistic and linked to real job vacancies.
- Deliver high-quality, learner-responsive coaching sessions, maintaining engagement and participation throughout the programme.
- Monitor, assess and rate learner progress against programme benchmarks, implementing action plans and remedial support to remove barriers to success.
- Coach learners to develop occupational competence, employability and personal effectiveness, supporting progression into sustained tech or digital employment.
- Maintain accurate learner records and activity reporting to support compliance and timely stakeholder reporting.
- Drive high levels of learner retention and timely programme completion with required milestone outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality blended learning and support continuous quality improvement.
- Engage with compliance, quality assurance and customer experience processes.
Skills Performance Coach – What we’re looking for..
- Qualified to Level 3 or above (or equivalent), with English and Maths at Level 2 or above (GCSE grade C/4+).
- A strong passion for supporting individuals at the start of their careers and building effective learning and development partnerships with employers.
- Excellent organisational, project management and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to build trust and communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and attitudes to work.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, respond to change, and work confidently with evolving systems and processes.
- A full, clean driving licence, access to a vehicle, and willingness to travel as required.
