Quality Manager – Apprenticeships

If you are a seasoned Quality Manager within apprenticeships, then you’ll be looking to join an organisation who will utilise your skills fully because quality and excellence is at the heart of everything they do.

A Quality Manager is sought by an multiple award winning training provider. They are well established with a reputation for excellence, which is contributing hugely to their ongoing success through repeat business. With high completion and success rates, it makes sense that employers will use them again and again.

Being Ofsted Grade Good, it is the Quality Manager’s responsibility to ensure effective management of people and processes. This means this training provider is always Ofsted ready.

This Quality Manager would be the Ofsted Nominee and therefore responsible for a team of trainers and IQAs, etc., who deliver first class professional business training to nearly 1,000 learners.

Another major aspect of the role would be to oversee ESFA compliance and Awarding Body guidelines.

This Quality Manager would be the sort of person who is constantly looking for areas where improvements can be made and then driving through their recommendations across the business to ensure change takes place. A mentality of continuous improvement would be forefront in this Quality Manager’s mind.

Ensuring each learner receives first class training would be vital to their Quality Manager. They would review training material for quality and relevance to the learner.

It is a very hands on role, requiring a high degree of interaction with the team and learners. This is reflected in the requirements of the role below.

Essential for the role of Quality Manager:

  • It is vital that you have worked recently within a quality related role for a training provider or college.
  • You will be familiar with the processes related to apprenticeship and work based learning training delivery. NO ONE WITHOUT THIS KNOWLEDGE WILL BE CONSIDERED. SORRY.
  • You must have hands on experience of Ofsted and the requirements imposed on training providers.
  • You will be a working knowledge of dealing with Awarding Bodies and ESFA compliance.
  • You will have personal and recent experience of conducting Internal Quality Assurance.
  • You will have personal experience of conducting Outstanding Teaching & Learning Assessments (OTLAs) in line with Education Inspection Framework (EIF).
